Term begins for Old School

After 18 months in the planning, Old School Brewery has finally distributed its first beers. The beers should be available in The Malt Shovel, George Washington and Nib in Warton as well as the Water Witch, The Borough, The Longlands Hotel, The Redwell, The Orange Tree and Woodlands Hotel in Silverdale. They have sent out Detention (4.1% Bitter) and Headmaster (4.5% Best Bitter) this week. In time for the Bank holiday weekend, we should also have out Hopscotch (3.7% hoppy pale ale) and Blackboard (3.7% mild). They will be holding an open evening in the brewery soon and I will post the date when it’s confirmed.
